Founded in 2006, Black Tusk Logistics remains an international family run business providing innovative and cost effective solutions to complex international logistical fright problems.

Black Tusk Logistics was founded by Mr. Steven Glasser and Mr. Cole Morgan, who both have international backgrounds: Mr Glasser was born in Italy while Mr Morgan was born in Germany and studied and lived in Manhattan, NY.  They have both ran and owned businesses internationally: Mr. Glasser is a mechanical engineer and owned a plastics injection mold company in Southern California, and Mr. Morgan worked in the banking and California real estate industries and owned high-end retail businesses in Central America.

Both recognized a key to their business success was having strong suppliers and freight forwarding logistics partners. Because inferior freight forwarders were a dime a dozen, the couple was driven to bring a level of strong operational support, along with a professional white-glove touch to a much-needed industry. They entered the freight forwarding business in 2006 with a commitment to offering first-class freight forwarding and logistics services to importers and exporters around the world. More than 14 years later, history has proven to be on their side. Black Tusk Logistics permissions and menu access are set up in your company’s SRM (Systematic Rental Management) application by your SRM administrator. Permissions control what menu options and functions users can view in SRM. Menu access controls what menu options the user can interact with. For example, you can grant a user permission to see the Work Orders menu option in Black Tusk Logistics allowing them to click the menu option and view the list of work orders, but if you did not grant that user access to any menus, they would be unable to do anything beyond viewing the list in the application.

MAY 2006
Steven Glasser and Cole Morgan joined forces and launched Black Tusk Logistics in Vancouver, British Columbia, with the mission and commitment to provide the highest standards of dependability and superior service.
APRIL 2008
Black Tusk Logistics signs up its 100th international customer and opens an office in San Francisco starting on the path to becoming a true international company.
AUGUST 2020
Black Tusk Logistics advises the board of Supply Chain & Logistics Association Canada in recognition of its unfailing commitment to the highest levels of service and professionalism in the ever-changing and evolving logistics industry.
JUNE 2013
Black Tusk Logistics established preferred logistical agreements in 10 countries across the globe. These agreements marked the first major step to offering seamless international logistical multi-modal transportation and delivery.
DECEMBER 2013
Black Tusk Logistics invests in full state-of-the-art custom technology to offer its clients real-time monitoring of packages and items. We were one of the first logistics companies to offer global security tracking to every level of customer from blue chip to sole traders.
APRIL 2015
Black Tusk Logistics acquired an up-and-coming transport company in Hong Kong, Ming Choy Inc., and opened its Hong Kong office. Ming Choy Corp, became part of the Black Tusk family of companies and now operates as a 10-person office in the Central District of Hong Kong.
JANUARY 2018
Black Tusk Logistics invited as a keynote speaker at Jump Start 18 conference in Atlanta. We led discussions on diverse subjects such as cross-border logistics and blockchain strategies.
JULY 2020
Covid-19 has changed the business landscape and the safe, secure and timely movement of valuable goods across the globe has become paramount to a business’ continued success.
